Let's be Smart Buyer

Be a Smart Buyer

Hello,  We are Kinihoki here's what we think about Smart Buyers

Hearing the word shopping must be very fun. But in financial planning, shopping can be a frightening specter because historically it has been the cause of people failing to manage their finances. Buying goods by shopping is actually one of the actions to get assets. However, the problem is that when these assets are consumptive assets, globally our wealth does not increase but instead decreases in value. As an easy test, take a look in your wardrobe, are most of the clothing assets consumptive? Shoe closet, dining room or even accessories that you always carry with you.

Smart and Effective Shopping
So you can't go shopping? Not so really, according to the title how we shop and what is purchased will not drop us into poverty and inequality. Talking smart and effective shopping means shopping in the right way and getting the right assets, namely :

1. Shopping needs
Shopping properly should prioritize needs. The need is something that cannot be postponed because if it is postponed it will be problematic, and usually the amount is limited and basic. For example, a piece of clothing is absolutely necessary, but if the shirt 'must' be a certain brand and you don't really need it, then the shirt is not a necessity.

2. Asset productive or make us productive
There are 2 conditions that we should instill when we are going to shop, namely that the asset should be productive, that is, it does not reduce our wealth and if it can even increase it, and if it is difficult then make a commitment that the asset can make us productive. Shoes like the story above are consumptive, but if the shoes make us more confident in socializing and generate income opportunities, why not?

3. Be smart with discounts
Purchasing success is when we can get the goods or assets we need at a lower price and the value that the goods or assets have. So that the discount is indeed a means to achieve it. But it is a failure when discounts actually make us tend to always spend the money we have. Therefore, don't ever make discounts as an excuse for us to shop, but make it when shopping to try to get a discount. So schedule your shopping time and try to get a price reduction or discount.

4. Do not owe
I am not an anti-debt person, yes, but when the goods purchased are goods for consumptive use, the value of their assets decreases and they are also obtained by debt, then you are in the term that you have fallen down a ladder and then broke your hand too. So there are many mistakes made. For that, stay away from debt when you shop for consumer goods.

Happy shopping, God Bless Us.
